Emma moved to California in 1949 and lived the rest of her life between Ventura, Calif. and Port Hueneme, Calif. She spent her adult life working at C.B.C and Point Magu. She was also involved with Oxnard Community Concert Association and a volunteer for the American Cancer Society for 20 years.
Emma is survived by her son James R. "Rusty" Smith, daughter-in-law Patty Smith, grandson Tyler Smith and granddaughter Heidi Smith. She was also "GG" to two great-grandchildren Hailey Smith and Dakota Smith.
Services will be held at community of Christ church located at 1848 Poli St. Ventura, Calif. at 11 a.m. Saturday January 12, 2013.
Emma blev gift med Neil Lewis Jensen, søn af Welder Axel Louis Jensen og Phyllis Abigail Hammond, den 17 Feb. 1973 i Ventura, California, USA.1 (Neil Lewis Jensen blev født den 12 Apr. 1932 i Port Blakely Washington, USA, døde den 21 Apr. 1999 i Ventura, California, USA 3 og blev begravet i Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, San Diego, California, USA.)
